The degree is a patent of studies that society grants to professionals so that they can practice their specialized activities. The degree, more than a simple formality, is an indicator of the quality of the student, it is the guarantee of that quality.
The University of Guadalajara is undergoing a process of modernization in accordance with the intensely dynamic socioeconomic, political and cultural environment, and as part of this process of graduation that took place in the past.
Thus, on August 10, 1996, the General University Council approved a new General Degree Regulation which considers the following General Degree Modalities that were adopted by the CUCEI:
I. Outstanding Academic Performance.
II. Examinations.
III. Production of Educational Materials.
IV. Research and Postgraduate Study.
V. Thesis, Reports.
